A deep bowl made of Cypress with a flat faceted external profile and a silky smooth, matt finish of Mineral Oil and Beeswax.

Straight and curly grain patterns here, as well as the unique 'black spot' feature. This is the result of a large steel nail being driven into the tree around 20 years ago and the tree growing around it. As the nail oxidised over the years, it left behind this black stain, a permanent reminder that this is 'urban wood'. 

A piece of urban wood, made into a bowl with its own story, and not another like it anywhere in the world.
