A deeply scorched Pear vessel with a copper wire accent wound around its foot.

This thick-rimmed, deep Pear vessel has been scorched inside and out, heavily wire brushed to bring out the different heights of the grain and remove loose ash, then sealed with clear wood wax while still hot - sealing the grain and giving the surface that worn, vinyl record look and feel.

The copper wire has been crudely wound the base and glued in place to mirror the worn feel, and shines out beautifully from underneath - the perfect accent against the pitch black.
